This July, PBS Distribution will begin streaming MOLLY OF DENALI, the first nationally distributed animated series in the U.S. to feature a Native American and Alaska Native lead character.  I had a chance to see a preview at the last PBS press tour and I absolutely fell in love with this show! The creators of the show attention to detail in making sure each segment showcased the wonderful Native American customs and beliefs. The show introduces children to a way of life they might not have known about but is so very interesting. And I love that lead character is a feisty Native American girl who shares her customs with viewers.

The first season of MOLLY OF DENALI will stream on the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel beginning July 19th. The series premieres on PBS KIDS on July 15thMOLLY OF DENALI follows Molly, her dog Suki and her friends Tooey and Trini on their daily adventures in Alaska.

In MOLLY OF DENALI, viewers will fall in love with Molly, a feisty and resourceful 10-year-old Alaska Native girl as she goes on adventures in Alaska with her dog, Suki, and her two friends Tooey and Trini.

In Cabbagezilla Molly’s friend Trini is excited to enter her giant cabbage, Big Green, into the Alaska State Fair, but a suspicious moose keeps nibbling its leaves. Molly and Trini research ways to keep the moose away from Big Green until the all-important weigh-in day. But, THIS moose is very clever.

In First Fish, Molly can’t wait to catch her first fish), but the only thing she manages to catch is Tooey’s missing boot! Other episodes that will be streaming include Grandpa’s Drum, Sap Season, and New Nivagi, among others.

Be sure to stop by the PBS Kids website for more information, games and activities of your favorite shows.
